Job Description
Required Professional Experience
- At least three (3) years of experience working in Global Fund programs, preferably with a focus on community health systems strengthening.
- Global Fund programming experience is a MUST.
- Strong experience working with community-based organizations and vulnerable populations.
- Experience working with community health programs and primary healthcare facilities.
- Computer proficiency in use of MS Office ((Excel, MS Word, PowerPoint etc).
- Experience & understanding with Global Fund Monitoring & Evaluation and GF Reporting structures.
Required Education/Training
- Degree in Health-related Sciences E.g., Nursing, Clinical Medicine, Public Health, Environmental health etc., or an equivalent from a recognized institution.
- Any other relevant bachelor’s degree will be considered with relevant Global Fund Experience.
- Demonstrate capacity and experience in Global Fund M&E and reporting.
Preferred Knowledge and Qualifications
- Excellent presentation skills.
- Experience with Kenya Health Information System (DHIS/KHIS).
- Flexible, team player and result oriented.
- Demonstrable ability to work with minimum supervision.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to engage and mobilize communities and stakeholders.
- The holder of this position must be a result orientated who can handle a heavy work load as well as manage and satisfy multiple and at times conflicting organizational, donor and other stakeholder demands.
- Demonstrated training, facilitation, mobilization and coordination skills at both community and organization
